From 1883 to 1889, he worked and studied in the studios of Lemaire, Lavastre & Duvignaud. He, with Lemaire, created the decor of the Theatre Francais as well as the Hotel de Ville, Paris. This poster for the 5th annual 1897 exhibition of the Artistic Club of Schaerbeek, has the inclusion of the quintessential Livemont female type. Seen in profile, with full lips and aquiline nose, she wears a metallic floral headband, whose blossoms are intertwined with her tresses.
