Captured in all its glory, CM35 4894 James Griffith takes the wheel of his Mini JCW as he tears around the iconic Donington Park circuit during the Vertu MINI Challenge 2024. The twenty-minute races are a thrilling spectacle, with drivers battling it out on track in their single-marque machines. In this particular event, competitors were split into two categories - JCW and JCW Sport - with the latter boasting 275hp and a six-speed sequential transmission. Griffith's car is part of the JCW category, featuring a standard gearbox and slightly less power than its sportier counterpart.
As part of the competition, there are also sub-classes for rookies and those aged thirty-five or over at the start of the season. Griffith falls into neither category, but that doesn't stop him from putting on an impressive show as he navigates the twists and turns of Donington Park.
