James Cooper is an artist and arts educator from the UK. He has been working in the field of art education for over 20 years, teaching in schools and universities. He is a highly experienced practitioner who has exhibited his work internationally and won numerous awards. His artwork focuses on themes of identity, culture, history, memory and place. He works with a variety of media including painting, drawing, photography and video to explore these themes. His work has been featured in solo exhibitions as well as group shows around the world.
